What is Headstart?

Headstart is Westoba Credit Union's financial plan specifically designed for youth aged 13-18 so they can begin financing on their own and learn more about what it means to be a Credit Union member.

Independent Financing

By the time your child reaches their teenage years, they are ready to start financing on their own. We offer use of Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) and Interac direct payment services. Personalized cheques and access to CU@HOME internet banking and TeleService phone banking are also available

Benefits include:

• Chequing privileges available
• Earns interest calculated on the daily closing balance and paid monthly
• Lower minimum requirement for youth term purchase
• Automated Teller Machine(ATM) card available. (requires guardian signature)
• A detailed monthly statement including cancelled cheques, mailed monthly
• Available as "Trust" accounts
